25G SFP28 BIDI CPRI Transceivers 1270NM 1330NM 10KM SMF for 5G Wireless Fronthaul

To initiate 5G network transition, direct fiber connection is the main solution with key features of high convenience, simpleness and ease of deployment. However, because of the increasing demand for spectrum resources, 5G fronthaul demands more base stations and excessive fiber resources for distribution. Instead of dual fiber, the single fiber scenario using bidirectional signal transmission becomes a better choice for ISP to wire AAU and DU.

TBD-SFP28-LR27/33 is a 25G CPRI BIDI transceiver designed for the single fiber scenario. It is fully compliant with 25G SFP28 BIDI MSA and CPRI/eCPRI standards, using 1270/1330NM bidirectional DFB lasers and PIN receivers. It is ideal for the fibre link of 10KM over a simplex OS2 single-mode fibre via LC connectors. Due to bidirectional, it must work in pairs with another module or network equipment of opposite wavelengths. With build-in DDM/DOM functions, this module can monitor operation status and diagnose voltage, bias current, RX power, and TX power.
