Fiber direct connection choose either the single fiber or dual fiber to create optical link. 

Single fiber adopts bidirectional signal and wavelength division multiplexing technology(WDM), saving fiber resources, but demands a pair of BIDI transceivers with opposite wavelength for deployment. The BIDI transceiver integrates the TOSA and ROSA in the traditional duplex transceiver into one component, called BOSA, for transmitting and receiving signals, and the WDM couplers for combining and separating the signal carrier light of two different wavelengths.

Top-Trans SFP28-BIDI-25G-ER Transceivers is designed for direct fiber connection via single OS2 SMF. It uses the bidirectional signals at 1270 and 1330nm wave to create the fiber link up to 40km. It is fully compliant with 25G SFP28 BIDI MSA and CPRI/eCPRI standard, using BIDI DFB and APD Receivers. It supports the protocol of CRRI Option 10 (24.33 Gbps), CPRI Option 9 (12.165 Gbps), CPRI Option 8 (10.138 Gbps), CPRI Option 7 (9.830 Gbps).
