Top-Trans TSFP28-25G-ER Optical Module is designed for 25GBASE-ER, using 1310NM DML transmitters and APD receivers for enough link budget to reach 30km over single-mode fiber (OS2 SMF) via dual LC connectors. It operates in the commercial temperature range between 0 to 70 degrees celsius. It features an SFP28 port to access the interface of 25G switches, routers, interface adapters and servers. It has a built-in DOM/DDM diagnostic function to monitor the operating status. It is fully compliant with SFP28 MSA, IEEE 802.3 industrial standard.

It depends on the link budget. This module can transmit 40KM in the standard OS2 single-mode fiber with FEC on.
